2014 Season - "Anne Frank: A Living Voice"

Anne Frank's "The Diary of a Young Girl" has inspired generations of readers with its message of resilience and idealism in the face of despair. Her words are brought dramatically to life in Anne Frank: A Living Voice, a major choral setting by composer Linda Tutas Haugen, and Michael Cohen’s chamber work I Remember. The poetry of Hannah Szenes (Senesh), another gifted writer and heroic young victim of the Holocaust, inspired music by Matt Van Brink, Joan Szymko, and Jonathan Berger (including her famous Eli, Eli).
